All Sweats

Swt still studying my psychology. Haven't finish man and exams around the corner swt. Guess I too confident liao cause summer only one subject. Currently studying Perception. Please pray for me XD - pray that I can remember what I study, maintain healthy and be able to perform in the exams !!

Haha psychology is just plain interesting lol. If you have nothing to do and just want a good read go look up a psychology text book. I would recommend Bernstein et al. (author). While reading psychology, I found that most of the analogies and principles actually we all are already applying it but didn't notice it. Most simple example is classical and operant conditioning swt.

Classical conditioning is kind of association learning that forms when you always do something so when you're doing it again it seems easy to do. The typical procedure for inducing classical conditioning involves presentations of a neutral stimulus along with a stimulus of some significance. It could be also fears that you face it is called classical conditioning. So if you are afraid of heights don't be quick to assume it is a phobia it could be just because u haven't condition yourself to heights. Reminds of me doing somersaults. when I first did somersaults I get some kind of headache each time I do it. After conditioning myself to it I don't have any headaches anymore doing somersaults.

Another example is Pavlov's experiment. During his research on the physiology of digestion in dogs, Pavlov noticed that, rather than simply salivating in the presence of meat powder (an innate response to food that he called the unconditioned response), the dogs began to salivate in the presence of the lab technician who normally fed them.

Operant conditioning is like training a dog. If you ask it to sit and it sits you reward it is call a reinforcement. So if you keep reinforcing when he follows your instructions it will always listen to the word sit when u ask. Sounds familiar ? Like if you study hard and smart don't forget to reward yourself and give yourself a pat on the back =p

Another example is when your dog does something nasty maybe shitting on the floor? You can give him a negative reinforcement like scolding him, not giving him food or just simply punushing it. This reduces the frequency of the dog doing that nasty thing again. Swts haha.

So much sweat, got to mop the floor, endz

And before I forget, ALL THE BEST TO MONASH STUDENTS WHO ARE TAKING SUMMER!!

Bad luck

Recently I been really unlucky man. So many unintended things happening. Puts me really in a bad mood. It started few days back and today haih.

Today I wanted to go and photocopy a portion of a text book so that I can go home and study it for exams. So I went to the nearest photocopy shop. I rounded and rounded trying to find parking and I couldn't find one. So my friend in the passenger sit said "nvm we park at the side here where I normally park". There were quite a number of people side parking there also. Before I parked, I saw a guy in blue uniform hanging around checking the electrical meters of the shop lots.

So minding my business I parked my car where my friend suggested. I went into the shop with him to do the photocopying. Five mins later and I really mean less than 5 mins actually !!! I came out and found that I got a ticket of RM100 fine =.= zZzZzZ What is worst my friend told me he never got a ticket for parking there and he normally parks in the same spot for hours. Grrr I park only once and less than 5 mins!!! And the guy who was checking electrical meters was the one who gave me the ticket. How could I be so dumb to not be careful when already warned. I suspect the guy was pretending to check the electrical meters, waiting to catch people and give them a ticket.

Feeling of memorials

This week I went to 2 different memorials. Well I went for one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday. Going to memorials really reminded me of how it was back then when my grandparents past away. Yeah feeling sad and all. Anyways I'll tell ya what normally goes through my mind on this.

First of all, like anyone I feel really moody and emotional being there and it brings back memories of losing loved ones. The feeling of losing someone and never hearing them speak again is really painful especially when they are close to you. I always think "How would it be if I were to leave the earth? Would anyone remember me? Did I make a change in the world? What could I have done better in my life if I would be able to do it again? Did I fulfill God's plan for me? Would people come to my memorial?". In my opinion I would really like to be someone/somebody that people will remember and did make a difference in the world and in their lives. This is why I always tell my friends cherish every moment and make a change everywhere you are because you may not know when your time is done on earth. It can be today, tomorrow or just around the corner. So brothers and sisters always be prepared and take care of yourselves.

Well just some extra info, I had a nightmare after going for the first memorial. Well if you are wondering whether I did pray and all after the memorial and put on the armor of God, Yes I did. =.= I tell ya, I kept waking up in the middle of the night. After rolling and rolling from side to side and waking up many times, I finally managed to sleep peacefully and guess what when I woke up to go to the toilet, I was shocked to find my pillow near my feet and I was still lying in the same position I'm sleeping. " How did the pillow get there" I was thinking to myself.

Woke up today on the wrong side of the bed. Feeling moody -,- and am worried about my assignments for psychology and upcoming summer exams. In Monash uni, I found out that psychology is the highest failure rate subject. Haha bummer of all subjects why did I pick this subject to do for summer and for fun. Anyways yes I do find it interesting cause I like to analyze people and psycho ppl haha. February is so near, which reminds me of a new semester =.=

Btw thanks Lukas for the BBQ party yesterday. The food was good. Loved the fruit salad your mom made. Managed to spent quality time with everyone. Probably made a fool out of myself but hey all of ya laughed =p As for Sek Yung all the best in your exams today. Thanks Mark for trying to surprise me by calling someone to the party but too bad she didn't come. As for Edson nice chatting with you =) next time I'll call ya out and talk more again. It be like practicing our interview skills ^^ Boon How don't worry too much yeah. Don't always keep things in your heart. I know you been tell me things but if you're feeling pain let it out and start doing something about it. Don't just leave it hanging and all things just stack up eventually. I'd guarantee it be worst. Anyways I'll always be there for you when ever I can k and well you know where to find me. Daniel ar you banyak quiet sia.......
=________=

Sek yung I will keep you in prayer on problems you told me you are facing. Sek Yung would just like to say "Stand strong even though things might not be fair to you, always remember everyone has made mistakes and has faced obstacles but through it all we grow and become a better person". You would need to make the best of the situation you are in my friend. Imagine if someone is perfect with no problems, how weak would he be if he faced a problem all of a sudden. Nvr seen a movie with no problem also haha. Can't imagine watching a movie that has no problems. Don't think it is worth watching.

Talking about movies I went to watch Cloverfield with Bernard, Rachael, Stacey and Karen on Thursday. The movie was fun I'd tell ya. It had a lot of thrill/suspense. The setback about the show is it made Rachael, Stacey and Bernard a little dizzy because the movie was filmed like the The Blair Witch project (live video camera). The movie was cool because you can practically imagine yourself holding the hand-held video camera. The sound effects and all was too perfect and seemed so real. The movie also reminds me to treasure every second of your life because you wouldn't know what might happen to you in the next second.

Endz for now

Just a little something

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

A walk in the park

A walk down the park makes me rekindle memories of the past. Looking today on what I have become I believe I have grown. Maybe not to some people because they have not really talked to me or spent time with me to get to know me. Just looking around seeing nature really blows my mind of how wonderful God is. You could be someone out there probably suffering in something like exams or anything and the world seem cruel and unfair to you. Word of advice is stand it out and stay in the game. Believe me or not at the end of it you would be laughing and be happy you went through some of that to be a better and stronger person but of course don't purposely put yourself into trouble. Well saying all this doesn't mean I don't have a journey ahead but well I'm just speaking my mind. Pretty hard expressing how I feel and even writing it out. Thats one of the big reasons I blog now =)

Crazy Public Holiday

Went out with my family for lunch in 1Utama. Ate at Sri Melaka. Then went out with Joshua =) I promised him I'd take him and accompany him to find the Original games he wanted to buy. Bad day to go shopping I'd say =.= Everywhere is jam. First we went to ss2 but guess what the shop I wanted to recommend him was closed. Anyways we headed to 1 Utama after that. We had to park far away from the complex and walk on foot with umbrellas since it was raining. Imagine how bad it was and to add on we went to 1Utama, The Curve, Ikano Power Centre and Cineleisure haha. I'm sure you will think of us as crazy in such conditions to go mall hopping.

Next morning we got the car technician to replace the battery and headed to KL to hang out. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner together with different people in different places.
