Had a pretty much good week. Wasn't an avg week. Had lots of revamp and change in my office for the better. Manage to catch up with quite a lot people. I wish I had only more time in a day.

The thought of time passing by without stopping and standing there with no change anything brings some chills down my spine. Everyone has an equal share of time, 24 hours in a day, 8765.81277 hours in a year & 365.242199 days a year.

I need to start investing in my future !! Remind me that.

Happy October!

Wanted to try out October fest this year but phailed I guess there is always next year. The week before I have been very busy moving office from Dataran Prima D2 to Kelana Parkview Tower.

20 things everyone wished they should have known earlier

One of the BEST posts/reads that I/you can find today. Thanks to the contribution from ZenHabits. Time to time my parents have been telling me exactly what this guy is saying and maybe more. I guess it's always better to hear from someone who has experienced doing all these stuff and especially coming from a 3rd party than your parents. Bare with the LONG paragraphs though. I know it's hard to practice some of it but well prevention is better than cure and with more knowledge comes more prevention.

I’m nearly 35 years old, and I’ve made my share of mistakes in my life. I’m not a big believer in regrets … and I have learned tremendously from every single mistake … and my life is pretty great.

However, there are a few things I wish I had known when I was graduating from high school and starting out as an adult in life.

Would I change things? I’m not so sure. I might never have gotten into a mountain of debt, but then I wouldn’t have learned the amazing satisfaction of getting out of it. I might have made better career choices, but then I wouldn’t have all the work experience that makes me the blogger and writer that I am today.

I might not have gotten married that first time, so that I would never have gotten divorced … but then I wouldn’t have my first two beautiful wonderful incredible children from that first marriage.

I don’t think I would change any of that. However, looking back, there are some lessons I’ve learned that I would probably tell my 18-year-old self. Do I share them now to share my regrets? No, I share them in hopes that younger men and women, just starting out in life, can benefit from my mistakes and my lessons.

What follows isn’t an exhaustive list, but it’s one that I hope proves useful to at least a few people.

1. How to control impulse spending. If there’s anything that got me in trouble financially, it’s impulse spending. Buying clothes when I don’t need them. Buying gadgets because I gotta have them. Ordering stuff online because it’s so easy. Buying that new shiny SUV because … well, because it was going to help me with women. I’m not proud of any of that. I’ve learned to control my impulses, at least a little better. Now, I give myself some time to breathe. I think over my purchases, see if I’ve got the money, think about whether it’s a need or a want. That would have been a useful tool 15 years ago.

2. You gotta stay active. I was in track, cross country and basketball in high school, but once I started college, the running and basketball began to slowly fade away. Not right away — I played pick-up basketball for years after high school. But even that went away, until I became sedentary. Playing with my kids outdoors winded me. And I began to get fat. I’ve reversed that trend, and am very active now, but I’m still trying to burn the fat I gained in those inactive years.

3. How to plan finances. I always knew that I was supposed to budget and track my spending, when I became an adult. I just was too lazy to do it. And I didn’t have a good idea of how to actually do it. Now, I’ve learned how to plan, and how to stick to that plan. Sure, I deviate from my plan, but I’ve learned how to handle that too. Maybe that’s not a skill you can learn from book reading. You just gotta practice. Well, I hope to teach it to my children before they go out on their own.

4. Junk food will come back to bite you in the butt. Yeah, it wasn’t just the sedentary lifestyle that got me fat. It was all the damn junk food too. I would eat pizza and burgers and Twinkies and sugar cereal and desserts and donuts and … well, you get the picture. As someone used to being able to eat whatever I wanted, it never seemed like it would be a problem. Bad health was something to worry about when you got old. Well, my jeans began to get way too tight, and to my horror, I climbed several pants sizes and developed a gut that only now is going away. I wish someone had shown me an “after” picture when I was young and downing the Big Gulp sodas.

5. Smoking is just dumb. I didn’t start smoking until I was well into my adult years. I won’t go into why I started, but it didn’t seem like a problem, because I knew I could quit anytime I wanted. Or I thought I could, at least, until several years later I gave it a go and couldn’t do it. Five failed quits later and I realized with horror that my addiction was stronger than I was. Sure, I eventually beat the habit (quit date: Nov. 18, 2005) but it took a piece of my soul to do it.

6. Fund your retirement, son. And don’t withdraw it. This piece of wisdom, and probably all the ones above, might seem blisteringly obvious. And they are. Don’t think I didn’t know this when I was 18. I did. I just didn’t pay it serious attention. Retirement was something I could worry about when I was in my 30s. Well, I’m in my 30s now and I wish I could slap that little 18-year-old Leo around a bit. What money I could have invested by now! I had a retirement plan, but on the 3 occasions when I changed jobs, I withdrew that and spent it frivolously.

7. All the stuff you’re doing that seems hard — it will be of use. This is the first one that might not be as obvious. There were times in my life when work was hard, and I did it anyway, but hated it. I did it because I had to, but boy did it stress me out and leave me exhausted. Hard work isn’t as easy as I wanted it to be. But you know what? Every bit of hard work I did without knowing why I was doing it … it’s paid off for me in the long run. Maybe not right away, but I’m using skills and habits I learned during those times of high stress and long hours and tedious work — I use them all the time, and they’ve made me into the person I am today. Thank you, younger Leo!

8. Don’t buy that used van without checking it out closely. I thought I was being smart by buying used, but I didn’t check it out carefully enough. That dang van had loads of engine problems, a door that nearly fell off when I was driving, a door handle that snapped off, a side mirror that fell off, no spare tire despite three tires that were ready to blow (and did), windows that didn’t roll up, rattling noises, an eventual blown radiator … I could go on and on, but let’s just say that it wasn’t my best purchase. I still think buying used is smart, but check things out closely first.

9. That guy you’re going to sell your car to? On a gentleman’s agreement? He’s not gonna pay you. I sold another car to a friend of a friend, who I was sure would pay me even if I had nothing in writing. That was smart. I still see the guy once in awhile on the road, but I don’t have the energy to do a U-turn and chase after him.

10. Make time to pursue your passion, no matter how busy you are. I’ve always wanted to be a writer, and get a book published. I just never had time to write. With a family and school and a full-time job, there just weren’t enough hours in the day. Well, I’ve learned that you have to make those hours. Set aside a block of time to do what you love, cut out other stuff from your life that take up your time, and don’t let anything interfere with that work. If I had done that 15 years ago, I could have 15 books written by now. Not all would be great, but still.

11. All that stuff that’s stressing you out — it won’t matter in 5 years, let alone 15. When things are happening to you right now, they mean all the world. I had deadlines and projects and people breathing down my neck, and my stress levels went through the roof. I don’t regret the hard work (see above) but I think I would have been less stressed if I could have just realized that it wouldn’t matter a single bit just a few years down the road. Perspective is a good thing to learn.

12. The people you make friends with are so much more important than your job or the things you buy. I’ve had a few jobs, I’ve bought a lot of things, and I’ve made a few friends over these last 15 years. Of those, the only thing that still matter to me are the friends. And I wish I could have spent more time with friends (and family) than on the other things.

13. All that time you spend watching TV is a huge, huge waste of time. I don’t know how much TV I’ve watched over the years, but it’s a crapload. Hours and days and weeks I’ll never have back. Who cares what happens on reality TV, when reality is slipping by outside? Time is something you’ll never get back — don’t waste it on TV.

14. Your kids are going to grow up way faster than you think. Don’t waste a minute. I just had an Oh My God moment recently. My oldest daughter, Chloe, is 14 going on 15 next month. I have 3 years left with her before she leaves my house and becomes an adult. Three years! I am floored by that single fact, because it really doesn’t seem anywhere near enough time. I want to go back to my younger self and whack that younger Leo on the head and say Stop working so hard! Stop watching TV! Spend more time with your kids! These last 15 years with Chloe (and my other wonderful kids) have gone by much, much too fast.

15. Forget the drama. Focus on being happy. There have been many things that have happened to me, professionally and personally, that seem like the end of the world. And while these things were bad, they get blown up in our heads so that they become major drama. They caused me to be depressed from time to time. What a waste of time. If I realized that it was all in my head, and that I could be happy instead if I focused on the positive, on what I did have, and what I could be doing … I could have skipped all the moping about.

16. Pay more attention to blogs when you first hear about them. They’re more than just journals. I first read about blogs 7-8 years ago, but when I took a look at them they didn’t seem like anything of interest. Just some people’s journals about stuff they read on the web. Why would I want to read those? I have my own thoughts about the web, but I don’t need to share them with the world. I spent a lot of time on the Internet, on various sites and forums, but every time I happened upon a blog I would brush past it without interest. It wasn’t until a couple years ago that I discovered what wonderful things they could be (I mentioned some of my early favorites in my list of influences). If I had gotten into blogging years ago … well, I wouldn’t have been wasting all that time.

17. Speaking of which, keep a journal. Seriously. Your memory is extremely faulty. I forget things really easily. Not short-term stuff, but long-term. I don’t remember things about my kids’ early years, because I didn’t record any of it. I don’t remember things about my life. It’s like a lot of foggy memories that I’ll never have access to. I wish I had kept a journal.

18. Tequila is seriously evil. I won’t go into details, but it should suffice to say that I had some bad experiences, and I’m not sure I learned very much from them or benefited in any way except to learn that tequila is the drink of the Devil.

19. Yes, you can do a marathon. Don’t put this goal off — it’s extremely rewarding. Running a marathon had always been a dream of mine, since high school … something I wanted to do but thought was out of reach. Or if I ever did it, it would be years and years later. Well, I learned that it’s not only achievable, it’s incredibly rewarding. I wish I had started training when I was young and light and fit … I could have had some good finishing times!

20. All these mistakes you’re going to make, despite this advice? They’re worth it. My 18-year-old self would probably have read this post and said, “Good advice!” And then he would have proceeded to make the same mistakes, despite good intentions. I was a good kid, but I wasn’t good at following advice. I had to make my own mistakes, and live my own life. And that’s what I did, and I don’t regret a minute of it. Every experience I’ve had (even the tequila ones) have led me down the path of life to where I am today. I love where I am today, and wouldn’t trade it for another life for all the world. The pain, the stress, the drama, the hard work, the mistakes, the depression, the hangovers, the debt, the fat … it was all worth it.

Insatiable taste for success

Time to time and especially now I have this dying thirst in me to succeed. I didn't do well in my degree and I feel limited by it. I am in need of an opportunity to redeem myself. Yes I have all myself to blame for this. I guess I was playful, naive and stubborn. I took things for granted but I guess through mistakes we become stronger.

It really bites me to my core on how others are better than me at this stage but I do know I'm not supposed to envy and I am sorry to be insensitive on this. I am willing to do what it takes even if it means sleepless nights to achieve it but please show me that it is worth it. I have this innate of learning as much as I can but seems to me I have problem focusing on stuff at hand that some call me jack of all trades master of none. Well this happens to me because some how along the way I will jump over to things that are more highlighted important.

Guess Who's Back

I'm back and it has been a long time since I've blogged. Some say I've just got out of jail and I'm ready to kick some ass. All we know is that he is out and he is known as Patwick. So he learns to quote like The Stig's introduction.

Feels great to be out of National Service. My early views about National Service is that it was a waste of time. Timing for National Service can never be better (so call better). Bugging me when I started college, bugging me when I was in UNI and even bugging me when I was working in SG. Thus I'm happy that I got over with it.

As a 24 yr old going to National Service and letting go of everything for approximately 3 mths, I guess you would agree with me that it SUCKS big time.

For those who don't know my camp is in Semenyih called Setia Ikhlas. According to many it is the No 1 camp in Malaysia. There are only two camps in Malaysia that has ISO, mine and the other is in Sepang called Princess *something*.

In camp I met all sort of people. In some ways I felt so blessed because there were so many people who were drop outs and didn't even have a complete primary education. There aren't many people who could speak English. My Cantonese and Mandarin wasn't fluent but some how I managed to adapt. Don't say English, Cantonese or even Mandarin, many couldn't speak Bahasa Malaysia. It was suffering that I had to be people's personal translator when some could even speak better Mandarin and Cantonese than me.

Most of the time, people there didn't care to participate, they just decided camp sucks I'm here and I want to go home so make it quick. Despite how much I try my best to get them to do things, they wouldn't bulge. So I decided I'm just going to do my best here, be happy as possible and think positive. The teachers were quite strict but actually they were super nice, they have to be strict so that discipline is maintained as well as instill some fear into mischievous people.

Plenty of stories and pretty long ones. To summarize I would say National Service really had a good impact on me. Some might say brain washing but honestly the modules and the structure of the camp was really good. I have a better understanding about our country, culture as well as being more patriotic. If you have a chance to go for National Service I'd say make the best out of it and enjoy it while you are there, be positive and see what you can learn from there.

Yes probably there are many things that National Service can improve on but I guess how much we enjoy camp and how much we can gain from it is as good as the trainee him/herself.

I'm glad that I managed to bring something back which would mark a milestone in my life. I won the Best Overall Trainee Award aka Wira Keseluruhan Terbaik.

Unforgiveness is Wickedness

Today's sermon at CHC was kinda touching.

Pastor Kong Hee talked about the topic Forgiveness.

Forgiveness seems to be a general topic that we hear but some how the way he preached, it feels so different. There are 5 points that he focused on which are :-

#1 - do not curse it

#2 - don't rehearse it

#3 - don't nurse it

#4 - disperse it

#5 - let God reverse it

What he meant was live each day with no grudge in your heart. Learn to forgive. In the bible there was a parable in Mathew 18:21-24

There Peter asked how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Jesus said seventy seven times which in olden times it means unlimited.

Then goes the story of a guy who owed the master a huge amount of money then the servant A who owes him begged him as he is unable to pay. The master took pity and cancelled the debt. This servant A then went out and found his fellow servant B who owed him a small amount and grabbed him as well as choked him for it.

The fellow servant B begged but the servant A showed no mercy. He threw the Servant B into prison till he is able to pay his debt. The other servants told the master and the master called servant A and turned him to the jailers to be tortured until he paid back what he owed.

Therefore this is what is important from the sermon. Our Heavenly Father will treat each of us the same way unless we learn and forgive our brothers and sisters from our heart.

Therefore summary comes in the 5 steps. Don't find reasons to be angry at someone. Release all grudges and let God handle them personally with those responsible. Learn the power of forgiveness =)

This week I had problems with MOM (ministry of manpower) suppose to collect my card but I didn't have my SPM cert with me. Currently waiting for the courier to arrive on monday from my mom. Fridays here are like holidays in work. Cross fingers =) going to have a badminton friendly match competition on sunday lets hope our team Badminton Buddies kick some ass. Manage to catch a movie yesterday called Date Night. Was quite interesting in terms of how the storyline goes. The actor's expression was really good that we laughed till our stomachs ache.

I am in Singapore. Things here are good.

Highlights of the week:

-Meet nice ppl at work

-played badminton for 4 hours

- watched Clash of Titans on Thursday

- went to City Harvest Church Easter service

Work here is pretty much fun despite all the talks about here being very stressful. The thing is actually they have high expectations of your work here. That should be the phrase people should say instead of the latter.

Not many here actually know much about Malaysia. They are pretty much like us under a nut shell.

Clash of Titans was so generic. Nothing special just the common generic Greek Mythology. In my opinion it is almost like the game God of War that you play on the ps3 n psp. The most fun part was the journey to watch the movie. The MRT station was already closed at that time so we had to walk from Admiralty station to Woodlands. So we had a fun run =)

Badminton wise here the courts are much better maintained. Imagine a court with nice flooring, nice clean toilets and air conditioned. Yes most of the courts in Malaysia are air conditioned but wait till you see the courts here. I can hardly sweat in the courts here unless I really exert myself. Oh shuttlecocks here are way way EX!!

Yesterday it was my first time at City Harvest Church. The service was HUGE !!! They have a newspaper for a bulletin lol. Pastor Kong Hee was talking about the new location. He made it CLEAR that if any case you wish not to contribute you can do so. He also apologised that he didn't reveal much to the public on the matter due to the non-disclosure agreement which was stated in the shareholders agreement otherwise they will lose the deal to the location. The decision made for the location was made in the Extraordinary General Meeting by voting members of CHC.

I have to say that their presentation for Easter was something really different. They did a modern personification of how God died for us. They sang lady gaga's Bad romance but changed the lyrics into Jesus terms haha. All thanks goes to Jason for the invitation and extremely VIP seats.

Well if you really know me I really treasure friendship. I'm kinda a person who needs to be preferably occupied 24/7. If it's work you would call me a workaholic if it's alcohol you would call me a alcoholic. Recently I've been trying to organize on what I can do to fill up my time slots.

I've not been twittering, facebooking, blogging because I've been trying to organize my life as well as work (as well as I have nothing much to comment). Close friends and friends alike I feel everyone has to move on, I can't stop them but I start to feel the pinch. Some how friends are leaving overseas and outstation I start to feel a little lonely. I feel like I'm pushed to a corner (is like I can't breathe but have to be forced to breathe) but I guess it's all good. I've to start to build my masterpiece as well.

Just let you know that you're not in this alone there is always a place in me where you can call home! The first thing on mind to who ever may concern is that Where Ever You Are Rest Assure I'm Thinking Of You & Sincerely Hope You're Doing Well. Glad to have you as a friend =)

Went out to catch up with Kelvin Khoo at Digital mall. Wow this is the first time I sit this model of Merc. Got total time drive and some other cool gadgets.

Went out for lunch with Lukas. Hmmm I didn't actually eat at this place before. It's at Kota Damansara. Apparently they told me that the place was much more famous now because the system of service different it's terrible. Village Park near my house is still No 1.

Tue 25/8
Joel and me decided to use our free TGV tickets. So we (Lukas, Philip, Patrick, Joel) watched Up. It's really a good show. Thumbs UP for Pixar. It was romantic, touching and funny.

Had a simple dinner with Kathryn and Lukas. Long time didn't go to Pin Kee already in ss15. The food there is still not bad but the Char Kuey Tiao no more d.

Organized lunch this time we went to Fish & Co. After that went out with Joseph and Jolene. At night I had a gathering with Christian and Kelvin at PapaRich Uptown. Had a good chat and managed to catch up. Learned a lot from both of them and I kinda felt left out when they were talking topics about their girlfriends. People also asking eh you got so many friends who are girls, when la you going to get yourself a partner.

Lunch time I ate with my family at Lan Je@Kota Damansara. This is my second time eating there.

The dish that is famous is this fish which cost Rm 14. It is very fresh probably the main reason everyone comes here to eat. You can see every table having the same fish not as a center portion but everyone having one.

Nothing really beats eating Bak Kut Teh after swimming 20 laps non-stop in a Olympic sized pool. Of course I swam more than that but official is 20. Ate at Restauran Ah Ping Bah Kut Teh which is located in ss14 Subang Jaya. This is one of my favorite places for bak kut teh in Subang.

District 9 was really awesome. It started pretty badly but after watching it as a whole the starting parts were very important and played a crucial role. Many people left the movie at the start. I guess they didn't have patience. Too bad for them the good parts came in later and the build up of the story was really a Wow though there were a lot of loopholes in the storyline.

I haven't been blogging much. Kinda felt like not writing anything for the moment that has passed although many things did happen. Nothing bad though.

Last weekend I went for the SIB Couz Camp in El Sanctuary Melaka. It was a different camp for me. I was suppose to meet at SIB KL at 6.30 cause the bus was going to leave at 7. I called for cab but couldn't get I end up had to run out to try to catch one. To my surprise this is the first time I can't find a single one. It was so stressful. I passed by some friends (2 girls) who were parking their car and I only can wave and run on. After waiting for almost near an hour, finally managed to get a cab due to my begging and cause the driver was Chinese. I reached there at 7.20. Found out there was a huge jam cause of a road block opposite Eastin hotel =.= no brainers blocking road there and at the time where everyone comes home from work.

I thought I was the latest to arrive, I felt really bad cause I haven't been late for camp before. To my surprise I wasn't the last. We waited till 8.45. I was kinda speechless, all the rush for nothing and the people who were late didn't feel the stress and didn't even apologize. It was frustrating because I actually do have a car and I asked a friend whether he could drop me who stay near my house he said no despite how desperate I was. Guess what most of the ppl on the bus din't take dinner and when we reach Malacca supper time passed already!!

I didn't managed to fully enjoy because I was feeling unwell there (before coming to camp I felt like I am immuno-depressed). Thanks to games in the Rain for hours and being thrown at with nasty mixed up concoctions. Thanks to those were sick before me, it didn't take long for it to spread as my immune system was down. One big significant thing about this camp than the rest was the FOOD. The food was just awesome. Other than that you just have to ask me =p

Finally I have True Blood Season 1. It was really hard to obtain.

Give to the Poor

This weeks sermon was very touching in SIBKL. Too bad many of you couldn't make it.

The topic was about Giving to the Poor. I just love the topic on beatitudes. When I say giving to the poor it doesn't mean just poor in money but everything that you can be poor in. God actually didn't limit how much wealth we can have but instead he is concern more on how you obtain it and how you use it. In the time of Sodom and Gomorah, he favored the poor also. So if you are good in something don't go put people down la say you Bo Gia A on this that. If you joke is ok la but don't over do it. This is what I always wanted to say but didn't manage to get a nice time to say it. Instead you should give advice or see how you can help your friend get better at it. Isn't life about growing together and helping each other expand horizons haha.

Even Mother Theresa said this " Each of them is Jesus in disguise" and that is the reason why she gives to the poor because you'll never know that anyone that you have blessed will be somebody later on to be someone influential that would impact the World. We just have to keep blessing the people around us and be a good influence around us.

In the bible, the chosen land was actually in the center of two big cities and it was connected through 3 roads which are The Via Maris, Jericho Road and King's Highway. It is stated that the reason of the place was chosen is to be the center of influence. So who ever you are, you are an influence to the people around you. The minute you come into the person's life you have already made a change or difference, it's just in the matter of what, good or bad.

I was touched by a person called John Wesly (1703-1791). His quote is Earn All You Can, Give All You Can. His life was really exemplary, every salary or pay he got even though increase or what, he limits his spending to the same expenditure but anything else he gave away. He quoted this below:

At all the times you can.
To all the people you can.
As long as ever you can."

Today was a really one of the days you can call unlucky, clumsy or probably funny.

I went to Monash earlier to prepare for my paper. Guess what last minute I realized my paper has changed to 1.30 instead of 2.30. I didn't have a chance to eat my LUNCH!! The next thing is HOW COME I DON'T KNOW it is open book.

After the exam I realized my parking ticket missing. Searched high and low for it. Terrible this is the 2nd time I lose my parking ticket. First was Subang Square cause the ticket is just a piece of paper. This time I believe is cause of my wallet (bought from australia). It's a little torn and worn out already at the bottom so I got to be careful le. If like credit card or important things drop die le until I notice it is gone. So I paid the ticket lost fine and realised I have nothing left to pay for my food. Starve lol.

Nth much after that, went bowling with lukas. Yang wei and pip all not around. On the way back wow again was rushing to go to Church. So using NKVE all the tolls were full dunno what I was thinking so I had rm5 in my wallet so because I wasn't sure I had enough in my TnG card I went to top up lane. The lady at the counter told me then min RM10. I was like OMG. Lucky I got enough car coins to make it RM10 lol. The stupid thing is I had remaining Rm2.80 inside which I doubted so much. What a blunder lol.

Bottom-line
- First of all things like MJ passing away reminds us of how fragile our lives can be
- Life can be really short, we got to value everything around us
- Everyone has their moments and hardships, who will be there for us? there is always one person God
- Just by a simple thing you've done to help, has already made a difference, whether it is a song, a hymn, a smile, a joke, lending a ear to listen or etc be creative
- I believe everyone has had their emotional moments, crazy moments, clumsy moments, stupid moments and many more, I guess there is really a time for everything.
- Everything in the world today seems to be replacable, if you're old some young person replaces you in your work. If you're tv is spoiled you buy a new one. BUT you can't replace for example your life, the mistakes you make and you're love ones that are gone. So live your Life to the Fullest with moderation.

As you see below, I really find it a good idea to at least minimum visit a local bookstore like MPH or BORDERS once every month.

This is some of the things I thought of sharing. As you see below it is a little about property. I learned a little something from friends who were selling property and as well helping people with personal loans. In the table below as you can see, you see the interest rate according to the loan amount. Financial crisis is always about credit terms, who doesn't want to own a property without a loan but it seems prices and inflation never really allow you to do it easily. It's like buying a Honda Civic with cash or property wow there is no worries after that. The only thing to make sure then is whether the property tenure is freehold or lease.

BLR = Base Lending Rate. It is the minimum interest rate calculated by financial institutions based on a formula which takes into account the institutions' cost funds and admin costs. On average most of the banks give 5.5%. You see a lot people always settle for bank loans. Did you know you could get a lower BLR through a outsource?

The inventor of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Arthur Davidson , died and went to heaven.

Define Success?!
According to Wikipedia Success is

a level of social status
achievement of an objective/goal
the opposite of failure

Seem pretty simple isn't it to define Success in these terms. So you take this simple terms to every single person, then EVERYONE is a Success!! "You're the Sperm that is the Harder, Better, Stronger & managed to penetrate the Ovum" = What does this mean? It means were are made Successful from the day we were born.

Can we say that failure is what we defined it as it is? Then again without failures we won't be a success rite? So can we conclude that Failure = Success?

Did you know a sperm fails a lot times before they can actually penetrate and with the right opportunity and right timing it is the successful one? I feel I really learned the most during this past 12 months compared to the rest of the years. In my existing job, I remembered one of Rico Tan's phrase, he said if someone is just a little better than you, he is better than you. There goes what PhilipKhor is talking about, what is the difference between No 1 and No 2?

Opportunities don't come easy. A lot people ask me why do we study so hard or even bother to study? I tell them simple, though we don't use 90% of what we study it improves the way we think, the way we handle problems and increases our potential for something greater.

Imagine eg. if you were destined to be a super great scientist but you didn't even bother to study for your science exams (you never know if you're even good or not good at it , can't prove your worth because you didn't even give your best). The potential or chance for greater purpose is then limited. Be Daring to FAIL and be WILLING to learn as much as you can.

I've learned a sure lot from my dad. Why do I mention him because he is really someone I put my pride in (never told him, didn't make it look like that). Though sometimes, I do find he can be quite extreme and unreasonable but I still love him and if I be tolerant and stand in his shoes I can understand him. Time to time when people ask him to do under-table things he chose to hold his Integrity (not resolving to peer pressure). I remember what he always tell his staff or me - Do your best in your job/role don't try to be lazy (tau lan) when you are working, you might be doing a simple task/job and if you keep showing you're good, people will give you opportunity. If he knows people who wants to give opportunity, he promotes it to his staff and encourages them to move on for the better (unlike others I see they just want to hold you back from opportunities).

Sometimes when we cannot see an opportunity, we actually miss it and if we are not careful it might not even be a opportunity. In end of day principles are very important eg humility, love. Few months back my dad was given lots of opportunities eg there was one that if he worked at it in 2 years time he would have accumulated 5 million but you know what, he chose not take it. Due to principles and promises he didn't take it up. I'm trying to say Timing vs Opportunity is everything. He just want to be able to spend more time with the family, continue to have a good health and value what is more important in this world.

What is a factor we cannot control? It is time. We can exchange time for money, health and everything else but tell me, what can you exchange for time? Today even in business world sometimes it is not how rich you are is how fast you can become rich.

Do you know why I love businesses? The fact of using the Theory of Leveraging. My view is simple everyone has 24 hours. Eg: If I'm good in something and I train A, B, C to be the same as me and they work for an hour. Then I already cheated on time I have 27 hours because I leverage 3 hours on A B C. So it goes on and on, if I ask A, B and C to duplicate eventually I have plenty of time and a continuous incoming cash flow. According to 4 quadrants of Robert Kiyosaki, Big business = 1000 staff. So imagine, if you have 1000 staff, each just work for an hour there you go you have 1000 hours in your hand. I sleep, eat, play and someone is doing my/your job. Yes you can't exchange anything for Time but you can make more efficient use of TIME.

Eg = You see the Market for food at that time is not so good, so McD use the right timing to release a idea (could be old or new) and McD execute it with speed the RM5.99 plan.

Bottom-line
- Sometimes we don't see the problem till we actually face the problem
- We learn everyday but learn most from mistakes (I used this theory on learning sometimes. Eg I go purposely find the ways I can fail and from it I realize how to beat the system)
- Be thankful for how successful you are today, you were BLESSED
- Timing is everything eg: like in relationships, if you said the right thing at the right time it works
- Market vs Timing vs Speed execution of Business plans is important
- Like a lot oldies song, in the end all that matters is Love (principles and values)
- Everyone is deemed successful and how we make out of it is how we define it
- If today you fail, learn to get back up and not use ways to give yourself excuse to give up (eg. suicide)
- Not many people can understand the potential of networking or business, it's all good to lessen the number of competitors in the market
- Your potential is limited the minute you say YOU KNOW or YOU CHOSE NOT TO LEARN ANYMORE.

Ps: You see in the past, I don't think I will even share this things. From the blogging experience I think if you see my oldest post to now I've learn to express more on my blog. Then again now of days my posts get longer. Thanks to those who've been following me on my blog posts and especially for the encouragements on msn, chatbox, emails, calls in the recent months and I'm glad that some of my posts do inspire you all.

What does it mean to be a man? What does it mean to be a woman? We have assumed, presumed, guessed and confused ourselves as we search for the true meaning. Have we lost our way? How do we navigate through the confusion, media pressure and our past, to find the truth? Who will show the way? [ very interesting questions hor]

I went to this talked called Return Of The King. Thanks to Celest and Lukas for my tickets (I saw the write up and was interested didn't know need to buy tickets, lucky for those two people I got a ticket)

What is man and womanhood? The biggest issue now in our society is the gender question.

What makes a man, a man and a woman, a woman? Good question hor?
It all actually starts from being a person. Which is called Person-hood. Now this is what I have experienced and did talk about it to some people I've known. When you're in a relationship at a young age, you don't have time to actually develop your person-hood. That is why most of the relationships don't last called puppy love. I read in Dr. James Dobson books, the age between secondary school to college/university life is the most important years. That is where you set your values, make most out of your mistakes and if possible meet the right company/friends which also determines a big part of your future. Being stable in character, values and finding true self actually is time you are spent alone.

Person-hood - Who you are regardless of gender and views of public.

So actually who are we? How do people actually look at us or how do we look at people? What is right? Person-hood is actually values of an innate person. It is not so about equal rights, but equal values. Ps. Dr Lew Lee Choo and Ps Dr Chew Weng Chee stated that when you forgive it is not about right or wrong. It is to validate the person in the image of God. That is really a great thought. What she meant was we are supposed to view people in the image of God, VALIDATION.

Validation = Person-hood in God's eyes.

We all want to be validated as a person don't we? Most of the time we want to be fulfilled. We can be fulfilled only when people agree that we are a person with great values. I admit myself that it is so true. I want people to see me as a man of principle. Lets just say if a building is RM x Billion, it is a fact. So you can either believe it, don't believe, be skeptical about it or don't care about it BUT no matter what it is remains the same.

What Ps. Dr Lew Lee Choo said which I want to share is that Both M/F have similar tasks. A man feels down when he doesn't get his SIGNIFICANCE and a woman feels down when she doesn't feel her WORTH. She depictions the violin and a guitar. Can a guitar be used in a orchestra? Sure definitely. Can a violin be played in a band? Sure definitely but can a violin play like the role as a guitar and vice versa? Nope. They each play their own role and that is what M/F is about.

What is important to MAN? It boils down to three main categories which are Identity, Responsibility and Blame. Being able to hold up responsibility is the mark of a grown-up. We all have responsibilities and we all know it isn't easy sometimes. Time to time when we don't/can't take up our responsibilities we become the blame people person.

The question I like to ask is this, WHAT DEFINES YOUR WORTH LADIES? & WHAT DEFINES YOUR SIGNIFICANCE GENTLEMAN?

So there you go again, the opposite sex compliments each other ^^
The thing about guys that a lot girls don't know is we are wired to have egos. It's a true fact, just how big it is. The worst punishment for a guy is to humiliate them in public. In fact, Ps. Dr Chew said guys are wired to be leaders. What I am trying to share is not in the sense that ladies can't be leaders too. It is just that we are not just designed for leadership, we are also destined for leadership (Visible). Woman are normally happy to let men lead if the men would rise up? Is it true? We actually perform at best when we play functions as the leader. Winning actually generates momentum and morale for Men (Victorious). The man must be the vision of the family or is the Vision of the relationship (where it is going, how far, where to aim)

So ideally a Man should be Visionary, Visible and Victorious.

As for Ladies/Woman, must learn to embrace womanhood.
For the ladies, Ps. Dr Lew Lee Choo said that it is important to Value Your Looks. When you ladies look good you actually add value to what God made you for. Woman need to value their looks in God's view and not peoples view or rather a beautician's view.

She also said that normally people who try to over show/dress to kill (can see too much skin) or don't dress/act like a girl, shows how not comfortable you are with your looks. So she said God made you that way, so you should learn to value your looks and admire your beauty. The funny thing she said was "When you become a wife don't let go of your looks". She said this explaining that a woman's looks actually complements a guy (so true). Not overdress or overkill la in that sense. Example if you dress in a way the generates lust from all the guys in the room it is just not decent la! Who wants to have someone who is the object of everyone's eyes. Imagine that girl/lady is your wife or your sister or your mom, you will feel offended rite?

The gift of females is pure Compassion. They actually feel far more than man and is always looking for a person who can commit. It is their duty to embrace the call to build. "Finance, marriage and emotional strength of the family is based on the female of the family" Says Ps. Choo. She meant that if the woman is not willing to commit to those or gives up, everything falls.

So woman are good builders -> as they should Value their looks, do have great Compassion built in them and must appeal to the Call to Build (building value back to a man also)

In the bible, it actually states that God created woman as help-made or help-mate. So how can we actually help each other to be a Better man or woman?

Bottom-line
- Time to time we humans like to make arguments. It is just so hard to admit we are wrong sometimes rite? But the solution is simple just admit you're wrong and say sorry sincerely.

- When we are lost we neglect things and when we recover from it only then we realize what is so damn important to us. Cherish it all =)one day you might lose it.

- It's never to late to apologize (don't agree to the too late to apologize song). Eg one scenario in case of best friends fighting : Maybe in slightest chance, you won't be able to be best buds any more but still it liberates you.

- A lot of the times we make mistakes and it becomes a regret but still we have to move forward (no choice no stopping). I just want to take this opportunity to say sorry here to anyone whom I've upset. It's easy to say "well live the moment, make the best of the moment so you won't regret it".

- Time to time we get so caught up with our lives that we forget to Thank God for what he has blessed us with. We have to be thankful right =)

- Sometimes we want something so badly but we just can't have it and we blame God why? Simple explanation is that maybe it's just not good for you that is why God didn't give it to you yet.

A thing to think about. Are you sure you are willing to pay the cost like in this song? How much are you willing to sacrifice?

I guess it's been a long time since I visited this place. I've shared about it to quite some people. It's an idea worth sharing. The last time I visited was last year. I wanted to check it out for myself before I even share it. I had serious sinus problems and after the treatment I rarely have sinus problems. Thanks guys =)

Her friends who had done chemotherapy all left earth. Inspiring !! Doctors can't tell you not to do chemotherapy, they must tell you to do it and it is their procedure. Doctors actually don't even believe in chemotherapy. Did you know that? That is why if you have time, go look for a book call Dead Doctors Don't Lie. From my experience I never trust Doctors 100%, a second opinion is always necessary.

When I say second opinion, I mean find another expert doctor also. Don't just settle on any opinion even if it is the same. Try to take your time to check other doctors like Chinese doctors. Not everything can be cured by chemicals, you have to think organic methods too. Don't go be a guinea pig and consume everything people say is good. You end up affecting your liver and cause side effects to your body @ more complications. Consult a friend who is expert in this. In this case if you know me you can get some information from me =)

Today I went for regular check up. Hmm the last time, I was detected to have high doses of free radicals. This time no, I guess probably though I do use the computer a lot but not as much as last time hor? (no more a gamer, retired, only play for social) I was detected like out of 50 I got 35 for my gall bladder. Normal is 40, great is 50, according to them it's not a big worry, the strain is prolly me consuming a lot of dirty food =)

Then goes parasite, environmental loads and allergies test. I was detected Tapeworm, Lice, Leishmania, Schitosoma, Trichomonads and Sensory organ worms. I feel lazy to explain what those are. It detected that this are the things that affect my liver and my gall bladder. I think you can Google it. I didn't have any of this the last time I came. Guess eating out a lot causes this? Treatment was done and Woah the next time any of this is in my system my immune system is registered to already know what to do. Zap em!!

Just wanted to share some thoughts and ideas from church (yesterday@SIB) and how I view it

*Blessed are the pure in heart*
We have to see things in God's perspective.
- Often in life we do not see it that way. We see things in our view. We choose to see what we want to see. As the saying is a half cup full is also a half cup empty. Perception is different for each individual according to what I learned in Psychology. If we always see things from our point of view we become skewed. Sometimes you know we get mad easily and get judgmental like some people but if we take time to look in others shoes we become more understanding. We often blame God when things go wrong especially after we conclude to see it in our way instead of God's view.

- Mathew 5:3-10 (incase you lazy to search so I put it below)

- I notice one thing that I can associate in this sermon. It's about integrity and authenticity again.

- This is what I've been trying to practice and am practicing now. Not to boast or whatever, what I'm trying to say is that if I can do this why not you? Of course it is tough at first. Transitionally allow yourself to do that =)
- It's kinda scary to know someone and when you get more involved with them they are not actually what they seem to be.
- Often this causes breaks in marriages =) so I heard and read about

How to Keep a Pure Heart and be Right with God
a) Keep small accounts with God
b) Be single-minded with God

Things that cause Moral Lapses. Meaning we can be close to God but we are sinners we do give way to sin and temptation sometimes. How do we identify them?
1) Is it a SLIP?
2) Is it a SYMPTOM?
3) Is it a STRONGHOLD?

- To explain it, SLIP = sin you know of. If you don't tackle it now and get it right it will move to the next step which is? SYMPTOM. If it becomes a stronghold you are not aware of it anymore.
- When it is still a SLIP, you know you want to change. When it starts to manifest into a STRONGHOLD, YOU don't want to CHANGE.
- In simple terms, when you have a SLIP all you need is repentance and forgiveness. When it becomes a STRONGHOLD you need deliverance.

BOTTOM-LINE
1) If you do slip, don't allow your slip to manifest into a SYMPTOM (start doing it quite often)
2) Have a partner, buddy, cell leader, pastor to be accountable to on your life in terms of Walk with God
3) Pure Heart is associated with Holiness or Holistic living
4) Be Real, Be Honest, Be Authentic
5) Have a Good Rest day and start doing small accounts with God on your life

Since a friend of mine is writing about Love topics I want to write something =p

I am actually quite knowledgeable on nutrition.

So today I guess I want to share a little on Fibre.

Do you know that you should have around 20 to 35 gram of fibre each day. A week would be around 250 grams. Leading health organisations say that anyone over the age of six should get between those numbers I gave you. Sadly to say none of us are actually eating near to that amount.

Fibre helps maintain good digestive health. I guess this is kinda general everyone learned that in high school. Do yo know it can be helpful in managing healthy weight?

How is it so that it can help manage your weight? Fibre actually slows down the digestion of food at the upper end of the digestive tract and speeds them up at the lower end. Fibre actually makes the food harder through the entrance but makes it easier to pass stools. In between that, fibre makes food more satisfying because they are bulkier and remain in the stomach longer. These characteristics of fibre helps you mange your weight.

If you do start to eat a lot more fibre than you normally do, normally you will feel bloated, cramps or gas. Therefore if possible add fibre to your diet gradually. Water is a must to drink with fibre especially when you increase the intake (8 glasses a day).

What if you over consume fibre?
A diet high in fiber normally causes decrease in absorption of minerals like iron, zinc and calcium. This can increase risk of deficiency of minerals in one's diet.

Today at cell group, you know the feeling when you hear something then you can relate to it? Well today is one of those days for me. Topic in the cell was about idol and temple of God. I admit about relationships, I did in the past made my ex or first love my idol. I can talk to her like hours over the phone and can just talk 24/7 everyday. Other things are quite personal to share but will share with you if you ask =)

It's funny man, I feel like at that point of time I want to write so much of what I'm thinking and feeling and when I'm home wanting to type it out I can't seem to feel what I want to write. Is it called writer's inspiration? What writer's do is voice record rite?

Had a nice talk at Murni's with thepippo. Sorry couldn't answer a lot of your questions. Really wanted to answer some of them but am just not fit at the moment to answer them. Should had just shut up and say dunno hor? Have not been that close to God lately.

Something I recall saying that I learn from my experience. If you're a manager or CEO or a leader my understanding is this. If there is a problem ONE)Fix it, if can't be fixed then TWO)Ignore it, if can't be ignored also then THREE) Terminate it, endz.

Does the market drive people to do the right things now of days?

Bill Gates was talking on two simple problems and said that any problem can be fixed just what are we doing about it. How can we change something?

Two questions that he talk about
1)How we stop a deadly disease?
2) How you make a great teacher?
He gave a general idea but for more info listen to the talk.

The average life span according to him has gone up and the number of kids who die has gone down. What does this mean to you?

If you're good at something transfer it to someone so it can be spread to benefit others. The education system does not reward teachers who are good. Even so the good teachers are not used as role models to help other teachers to be at around the same standard. In the end of all, everything is SYSTEM. If you want to have a good business method/plan Have A SYSTEM. In my existing job I learned that making a PROVEN SYSTEM and USING/FOLLOWING SYSTEM makes life easier and yet efficient. How is your 24 hr SYSTEM?

If you create a proven system everyone will want to follow that system. Apparently when I did some marketing research it is all categorized into 3 things -
PRODUCT - what type it is, who is your target for this, easy to make? target market?
BUSINESS PLAN - expansion, wellbeing of employees, career advancement, how you market the products etc.
COMPANY BACKGROUND - your goals of company, your philosophy, what you actually stand for

Overall all the talks were interesting. Can actually learn something from all the speakers even from Dash (always be ready, Semper peratus). Obviously TED is interesting. If you don't know what is TED look it up www.TED.com

Obviously because it is the first run, there is bound to be Murphy's law. Next one will be much better no doubt. Can't wait for the next TED talk.

Showed Jennifer around Monash (promise is promise rite? See don't doubt me k), apparently she haven't been there before. Was driving out of Monash and going to go park in the other Monash car park. Bumps into police and not wearing seat belt. Test of integrity starts on me, to bribe or not to bribe that is the question. Jen was like speechless and worried haha. Thanks for the test Lord. The police let me go cause I didn't want to bribe =)

Had a long drive around 1-2 hours. Was driving slow and just sight seeing using DUKE and Guthrie Highway. Just wanted to drive alone in my car to organize my thoughts.

"Time to time I feel like I have all the time in the WORLD and have a great purpose to fulfill. Felt like i'm always meant for something great. Maybe this thinking simply exists cause I'm just young but I really want to make a significance to my Country and the World. I admit I'm a attention hungry seeking person. I am currently stuck pondering on my future and what to do next after each thing. Fear in not knowing the outcome of choices made. In fact Fear of making choices too on where to go from here.

I listen to Tony Robbins on TED Talks and agreed on what he says. Our World view and Mindset is defined by our past experiences. Emotions drives your motivation to do something. My existing job was kinda the job I love doing but it didn't turn out the way I wanted. I had a clear cut aim of what I wanted that time. Now I'm actually am not so sure where to aim. Sure aim for the sky but what part of the sky? I sure prefer business than science atm. Money sure important to me but hell not till the extend of giving up all the things I love. Now I don't know which field to go in or which job to apply. Sure everyone says do what you love. How do you know that you really love what you do? Enlighten me. Even so ppl in the world do jobs that they don't' even like and have no choice. There is a saying that not everyone will be able to find the prefect job they love. People just do jobs to survive and then they get good at what they do and they advance from there.

Today I watched some Apprentice videos and I found out the main criteria for business is SALES SKILLS. Donald Trump also says it too a lot. Now I do believe that sales makes the World goes ROUND. No offense why do people look down on sales as if it is the most lousy or humiliating job. True you don't need to do sales as a job but at least give it some thought and some respect to people who do it full time. Sure I believe there are rotten sales people out there and some of them don't tell you full ideas on the things they sell. Con you but isn't it the same for any job? Do you think in your current job your boss tells you everything/whole story? Most of the time people like to hear what they want and we never do tell the whole story. This explains why I like to try to explain to people stuff. If today you find you're upset you should ask people why they do what they did.

Too many times we eventually automatically shorten things like technology. Today we use XP then as we use it more often we shorten it with shortcuts and VISTA comes in. See Win7 compare to DOS. How many steps has been reduced? Bottom line what I'm trying to say everything has its place to play and we tend to try simplify everything or the other extreme complicate it.

What happen to moderate in everything? Yes I feel I haven't been practicing moderation on things recently. I have this extreme adventurism and keeping myself occupied with something all the time with spontaneous things. Sure feels like it is like an equilibrium, we go to extreme mode without knowing we been doing that and when we realize we go back to moderation. After awhile we forget again and back to square one, like ups and downs.

I can surely conclude that different people have different kinds of equilibrium. Finding a partner with the same equilibrium sure is hard to find but I guess awesome if you do. I'm just writing what my thoughts are at this point of time and writing directly on what I'm processing. You probably can see my line of thinking. Just typing what comes to my mind. I sure miss some people already at the moment. Who you might wonder, you can ask me and I'll tell you if you're one of them or not ahha. endz snores!"

Slept 3 am yesterday or rather this early morning, couldn't sleep was lying on my bed. This are some of my thoughts that I can share@wrote while trying to go to bed.

This morning I went to SIB. Guess what the topic was about? It was about significant ppl like example Isaac Newton, Horatio E. Spatford, Joseph Scriven and Fanny J. Crosby. Do you know what they have in common besides making a difference? They all did Hymns that touch the WORLD. Remember Amazing Grace song? Just a good example. Each of their life story is a living inspiration. Horatio E. Spatford - He was a person who practiced great integrity and help everyone he saw. Lost his only son to pneumonia then later lost three of his daughters on a sunken ship. His wife survived it. He asked God why did that happen to him. What did he ever do wrong? Despite that after a moment he said all is well with my soul and wrote a poem out of it. He told his touching story to a song writer and he was inspired by the poem Spatford wrote. The writer wrote a hymn and today the hymn is known as It Is Well With My Soul. That song touched millions of life. Amazing rite? Each of us have music in our hearts. We emit different songs. Music was proven second to THEOLOGY. How amazing is that?

Yesterday I went to help at a nostalgic event (at least to me) - Leadership seminar for Interact schools. Reminds me of high school. Life is really like a metamorphosis process. Who we mix with, what we learn along the way through experience makes us who we are today. In my education, I remember a huge debate and topic on the growth of a person in different environments. Lets just say if you have a specimen to play with, a human twin. You put both of them in different environments you would get two different people despite the similar genetic makeups.

On Friday cell group at SIB's, I came to conclude that life is really continuously a growing process. How much we have grown, we only know ourself. As a Christian myself, we follow the teachings of the bible. In fact we always get judged for our actions as it doesn't seem the same as what it is in the bible. You see my friends I repeat again life is like a metamorphosis, we aim to be Jesus-like but we can never be. Rest assure there is a standard which we can improve and aim forward to. It just as simple to conclude that we can never be as perfect as Jesus due to the nature of sin we have. This is what being AUTHENTIC is - Accepting the bad we have and improve it for better.

Thus again we tend to forget, who are we to judge people or anyone, we should just let OUR HEAVENLY FATHER JUDGE and be ACCOUNTABLE for our own wrong doings.

Having a long and tired day I decided not to go FGA, I must say I liked what Pastor Lee Choo said in SIB service - Topic about Meekness. I'll elaborate more of what I know and come to understand even though she din't talk so deep.

Meekness is needed when 1) facing opposition 2) provoked to anger 3)facing injustice.

Meekness is not weakness, but rather controlled strength. It is the opposite of pride. Because meekness is the selfless aspect of love, it can only be manifested from a strength of character. Those with a weak character are always occupied with self and with what others think or say to them. When you know who you are in God, what people say to you or think of you, will not move you; you are not self-centered.

Meekness brings Blessings, Meekness obtains Grace, Meekness is Teachable, Meekness places Others First, Meekness does not Criticize (only constructive),Meekness receives Rewards

In the end it comes to Humility. I just admire people who can understand this value. If I am filthy rich from my talent, I wouldn't be happy by just seeing myself be rich. I would definitely like to use what assets I have to help people. Share with them what ever I have. I would like to teach a man to fish than to feed him a life time though. Life is 100% more happy that way for me. What do you think?

One more thing I really like what Pastor Lee Choo said was the thing I've been hearing lots. Submission. Wifes submit to your husband, members submit to your leaders, family submit to God. Submission is not always weakness. She gave a depiction of a team lets say 5 ppl having a board meeting. Submission is not example "Orh I have no opinion" then follow the leaders opinion. Submission is example - One says "40 days fasting will be good", 2nd says "1 day fasting will be better cause easier for everyone to do", 3rd says "3 days is better". Then the Leader decides and says "1 and half days" and everyone just follows the leader's choice. This is very important in leadership, taking the ideas to make a great decision and members must give their thoughts as well obviously. SUBMISSION = no matter how bad the choice of the leader is, you still give your input and follow the choice.

A true leader does not misuse their leadership and command ppl to do their work but instead show pure guidance. Time to time I see people DO NOT UNDERSTAND LEADERSHIP!!! Giving orders and making people do work does not make you a LEADER. If you are a leader people will want to follow you without forcing them to join you. In layman's term it would be like the comparison between facilitating and teaching.

Today before I came to school I read about the so called 1Black Malaysia Campaign and about the Monash lecturer being arrested. When I reach school I found 10 to 15 police cars. Some of the policeman were carrying mp5 sub machine guns. Link1 Link2

Couldn't take a close shot apparent some policeman stop some ppl who were taking pictures. The 2 girls in the photo came to me and asked me what was going on. In fact everyone was so curious ( I like knowing something that no one knows)

Another interesting thing that happen was I had a special lecturer for my class today on GIS (Geographic Information System). The class was superbly interesting compared to normal lectures. He talked about Spatial (the geological data) and Attribute (labeling) data. Then comes in vector and raster. According to him, a small data of area that you request for research can cost you easily 20 to 30k woah thats real money. One thing that he said about maps is that a lot of the world maps are wrong. The spacing and the size is not accurate but the US maps are accurate. Another thing he shared was that since there are many companies who have different datas and maps they each have allocated a wrong map portion in their database so that if anyone tries to copy their information they can easily identify it.

There is a One Fashion show (1utama) going on (today and fews days more). I kinda like to go to fashion shows. Why? Cause I like to analyse how the girls walk =o Each of them have a unique walk path and personality (it is like choices we make in life, watching ppl make choices is fun for me). What I like most is the atmosphere of cameras flashing and the loud music. Probably one day i'll hold one of the big cameras and capture timeless photos.

What is Authenticity? Today I went to SIB KL for COUZ nite and this was the topic. Authenticity means to be genuine. Be real and true to yourself.

Now It doesn't mean that you should tell your partner or friends "THIS IS ME ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM" that is like telling people accept my shit if not leave. Not this yeah. Means accept who you really are and don't fake it. Instead fix those bad habits and be genuine. Nobody is perfect but am sure those you call friends will be there for you no matter how bad your habit is.

This relates to my thinking of Integrity. To me Integrity is like be really honest on who you are and do what is right. Guess it is not easy yeah. I for sure admit that being authentic in everything is difficult.
